Located in the center of Provincetown is what might be the smallest shop with the biggest heart.  Cape Art Tiles is 200 square feet of local art.  The store packs in 14 different painters and photographers, organized by artist, and visitors are encouraged to take a bio, which lists both the local galleries where you can find more work and a website for more information on the artist.

Each image is available on tiles, cutting boards, coasters, trivets, key hangers, and coat racks. (Custom orders are also available; you can have any personal image on a tile!) The scenes represent different schools of painting native to the active Provincetown art scene, including abstract expressionism, encaustic, realist, palette knife, watercolors, Cape School of Art, white line woodcuts, impressionist, and bold abstract.  Royalties are paid to each artist for each image sold.  The artists are local, the tiles are made right here in North Truro, and the materials are all U.S. made.  Cid and Francesca are proud of their little shop because they love Provincetown and their community.  They think locally, spend locally.  Their bright, airy shop has brought contemporary Provincetown to the general public in an affordable way for eight years now.  Check out this wonderful oasis of art; the local scenes, the different styles, the colorful tiles are sure to show you what is uniquely Provincetown.
