Join Community Herbalish Sarah Naciri for a hands-on medicine-making workshop on Saturday, May 18, 1 – 3 p.m., at the Truro Library. The focus on locally grown plants and mushrooms and the importance of eating with the seasons. Naciri provides information on how particular foods and herbs can support the body’s natural detoxification process during the spring months. Including topics of cleansing, gut health, seasonal allergies, and food as medicine. Along with medicine making demonstrations and tastings.
Sarah Naciri, herbalist and forager with a profound love and respect for plants, mushrooms and wild places. Founder of Wild Blossoms Apothecary and devoted to teaching people about the power of plants, offering potent herbal medicine made exclusively with locally-wildcrafted plants and mushrooms, organically-grown herbs, and sustainably-sourced ingredients. Naciri works with Sustainable CAPE, a local nonprofit organization, as an educator/program manager and teaches a weekly gardening class for kids of all ages in the Children’s Community Garden at the Truro Public Library.
