All the fish on display, with the exception of the shrimp, are locally caught and supplied. The cod, haddock, flounder, grey sole, bluefish, and shellfish are brought in the night before. In essence, what you’re buying is so fresh, the time from landing a catch to having it on sale can be as little as 12 hours. At Cape Tip, you get the freshest fish on the Lower Cape at the lowest prices, because the product comes direct from the fishermen and shellfishermen. This wouldn’t be Cape Cod unless lobsters were being steamed, and at Cape Tip they’re cooked at no charge. Calling in orders early is strongly recommended. Crackers, cocktail sauces, tartar sauces, and all manner of accompaniments are also on sale.
