FOOD: NEW PAGAN MEDITERRANEAN • EAT IN/TABLE SERVICE/TAKE OUT • MC/VS • $$$
Amongst the wood-paneled walls, exposed vaulted ceiling, eclectic music, and artist Kayla Anderson’s scenes and settings of the Outer Cape hanging from the walls, sits a dining gem. Terra Luna serves its blend of paisanne cuisine that reads on the menu like the simplicity with which it’s cooked and presented. Look for the grilled “galvanized” pork chops served with fried cornmeal and white beans with linguica and kale, or Sicilian littlenecks with spicy sausage, fennel, roasted garlic, and plum tomatoes over spaghetti, or the scafata of fava beans, escarole, artichoke hearts, and seasonal vegetables served with quinoa fritters. Bartender Luke Massouh serves up the craft cocktails that complement the food. It’s good fare, the kind you roll up your sleeves for and dig in. Chef Tony Pasquale is right when he describes what comes out of the kitchen as “Neo-Pagan.” Terra Luna has the feel of something special.
