And she’s right: it’s a veritable doggie Disneyland, with toys, games, treats, and of course staples such as dog food no one else carries (and a few items for cats as well!). The daycare is immensely popular, with separate play areas for large and small dogs, a swimming pool featuring “bacon bubbles,” and more. “It’s a lot of fun for dogs to play, to socialize together,” says Jodko-Stewart. “They need vacations and time away from people, too!” The shop offers dog treats from local vendors as well as nationally known brands, clothing, and more, while the daycare could accommodate up to 40 dogs. “We board cats, too, from time to time,” staff adds. If you don’t have a dog in your life (and who in Ptown doesn’t?) come in for gifts and stocking stuffers for your favorite canine. They’ll thank you for it!
