“Pilgrim Bark Park has since 2008 been offering a place where dogs can run free, socialize with each other, and generally spend some unleashed recreational time outdoors.”
Voted Cape Cod’s best dog park—and second-best in the country!—and located on an acre of land donated by the town, Pilgrim Bark Park has since 2008 been offering a place where dogs can run free, socialize with each other, and generally spend some unleashed recreational time outdoors. Owned and operated by the Provincetown Dog Park Association, Inc., a nonprofit organization, Pilgrim Bark Park includes a general dog section and a section exclusively for smaller dogs (under 25 pounds). In this art-oriented town, it’s also a giant art exhibit, with sculptures, benches, a big doghouse (complete with doggy resident), and poop-bag stations decorated and donated by local artists. Pilgrim Bark Park is open year-round and is a favorite haunt for locals, but everyone’s always delighted to greet and welcome visiting dogs and their humans, and many new friendships—both canine and human—have been made here.
