“You may see whales, seals, foxes, or deer: out in the dunes, you never know what might happen!”
You’ve seen Commercial Street: now it’s time to see the other side of Provincetown, and explore the wilds of the Cape Cod National Seashore. Take Art’s Dune Tours—now celebrating 70 years of continuous operation—and see what’s hidden from most people. Owner Rob Costa (son of the founder, Art, the “King of the Dunes”) is enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and quick to share his passion. Your tour guide will tell you stories about the dunes, the legendary “dune shacks,” the old Peaked Hill lifesaving station, famous artists and writers who lived out in the dunes, and more. You may see whales, seals, foxes, or deer: out in the dunes, you never know what might happen! Daily trips begin at 10 a.m. (with special early-bird pricing), ending with a special sunset tour at approximately 5:30 p.m. Couples and small groups can book a car or the entire fleet for a private party; it’s a truly special setting for a wedding or a clambake; or you can take a special Art with Art’s tour, a Land ‘n Sea, Land ‘n Sail, or Land ‘n Lake tour. Reservations recommended.
