Provincetown photography series Out The Window gets second showing

Internationally recognized visual and drag fusion artist Shania LeClaire Riviere will see a number of his Out The Window series of photographs adorning the walls of popular Wildflower of Provincetown this spring and throughout the summer. These framed prints, first shown at a group show at AMP Gallery in 2015, will be available for purchase. The entire collection is featured in a book by the same name, which was also published in 2015. Out The Window represents the artist’s view from a small window overlooking the bay where he lived and worked at a B&B in Provincetown for four years.

In addition to this “second look” for his photography, Shania has also launched a new series of T-shirts available to the general public through Spreadshirt. The work, which evolved from his Strangers photography series into drawings and watercolors entitled My Weekend In Provincetown, is a depiction of the many diverse people that come to Provincetown during the summer and the popular places they spend their time such as: Lobster Pot, Boatslip pool, Crown and Anchor and Adams Pharmacy.

Wildflower of Provincetown is a local florist and home décor business. They offer a wide variety of unique home accents, art and indoor plants, as well as a full service florist station. Out The Window framed photographs will be part of their offerings and an official “art opening” will be announced at a later date. Wildflower is located at 361 Commercial Street in the East End. You can find them online at wildflowerpt.com.

Spreadshirt is an online retail company that enables artists to offer their designs on custom T-shirts and sweatshirts in a virtual marketplace that affords customers the ability to pair the designs with different styles, colors and sizes.
